The Challenge

A premiere wall and ceiling contractor in the Pacific Northwest since 1982, Northwest Partitions provides the framework of excellence to their clients. Their careful attention to detail and standards for quality have kept them highly regarded and sought after for generations.

Northwest Partitions was moving to a brand new facility and decided it was time to upgrade their look along with their space. Their existing brand did not reflect the attention to detail and excellence they strive for in their work and their website did not display their portfolio with the wow- factor they deserved.

What we did

Based on market research and discovery, we presented a bold brand that stands out amongst competitors.  The new Northwest Partitions logo is an Ambigram- also known as an inversion, or flipscript. It is a graphical figure that spells out one or more words not only as presented, but also in another direction or orientation. In the metal framing game, structural integrity is key. It was important to give NWP a mark that echoes the strength and precision that they apply to each of their projects. The ambigram combined with an Americana color palette, paved the way for impressive website and collateral applications.

From discovery to design, VSG was able to create a refreshed brand that was foundational to their market positioning and business development.  With a sleek, professional look, potential clients can now see what NWP is truly capable of.
